Bei Google hat die woke Unternehmenskultur wieder für Schlagzeilen gesorgt:
Google has fired 28 employees over their participation in a 10-hour sit-in at the search giant’s offices in New York and Sunnyvale, California, to protest the company’s business ties with the Israel government, The Post has learned.
The pro-Palestinian staffers — who wore traditional Arab headscarves as they stormed and occupied the office of a top executive in California on Tuesday — were terminated late Wednesday after an internal investigation, Google vice president of global security Chris Rackow said in a companywide memo.
“They took over office spaces, defaced our property, and physically impeded the work of other Googlers,” Rackow wrote in the memo obtained by The Post. “Their behavior was unacceptable, extremely disruptive, and made co-workers feel threatened.”
Das viele woke Aktivisten auf der Seite von Palästina stehen ist nichts neues. Und natürlich fordern solche radikalen Aktivisten die Auflösung eines 1,3 Milliarden Dollar Vertrages mit Israel und meinen, dass sie damit voll im Recht sind.
Es ist verständlich – aber auch etwas erstaunlich – das Google sie feuert, aber Google hätte natürlich auch nicht den Vertrag kündigen können ohne ein erhebliches PR-Problem zu haben (zumal Larry Pages Mutter Jüdin ist und bei Sergey Brin beide Eltern)
Eine dieser Aktivistinnen war Kate J. Sim, die wohl bei Google für die Sicherheit von Kindern zuständig war.

I am a Policy Advisor at Google where I specialize on Child Safety.
I completed my PhD at the Oxford Internet Institute where I studied how data-driven and automated reporting systems for sexual harassment reconfigure the ecosystem of campus safety in US higher education. I employed ethnographic methods with interface analysis to uncover the social, political, and ethical implications of using emerging technologies to govern sexual conduct.
I also served as a Senior Researcher at Edgeryders. I designed and led a digital ethnography project that draws from participants‘ experiences with emerging technologies to inform policies for a more democratic, open, and trustworthy Internet. We used the semantic social network analysis (SSNA) to code, analyze, and visualize ethnographitc data. This research is a part of the European Commission’s Next Genderation Internet (NGI) Forward project.
Elsewhere, I examined AI/algorithmic accountability in public life, including ethical and practical scopes for predictive risk assessment tools for child protection services in the UK and the use of AI systems during COVID-19.
Prior to research, I have over a decade of experience in community organizing, survivor advocacy, and qualitative research in US, UK, and South Korea. I am incredibly proud to have been a part of youth- and survivor-led campaigns like Know Your IX and Our Harvard Can Do Better to demand a safer and more just campus. The lessons in community building, transformative justice, and solidarity continue to inform my work.
I hold a MSc in social science of the Internet from the Oxford Internet Institute and a BA in gender and sexuality studies from Harvard.

Und es ist einfach wunderbar formuliert („crocodile imperial feminism“ finde ich wunderbar) und zeigt wie gut man mit den intersektionalen Theorien alles begründen kann, sogar das man eben Vergewaltigungensbehauptungen eben nicht glauben sollte, wenn die (angeblichen) Täter die falsche Hautfarbe haben.
Aus den folgenden Tweets ergibt sich etwas mehr Inhalt:
Sie sieht also den Vorwurf, dass die Palästinenser Massenvergewaltigungen durchgeführt haben als widerlegt an und führt an, dass die (weißen) Feministinnen nur Krokodilstränen weinen und es ihnen in Wahrheit nur darum geht, die Palästinenser in ein schlechtes Licht zu rücken, also Rassismus.
Ich habe keine Ahnung ob sie mehr eine Beraterin war oder wirklich Festangestellte, aber es ist schon erstaunlich, was die Leute für ihren Aktivismus wegwerfen. Ich vermute mal sie haben da nicht schlecht verdient. Aber klar, sie sind Fanatiker.
