The logic of the “Resign for Diversity” campaign is laid out in a paper I published last year in the journal Academic Questions. Cohen made in his famous essay, ‘If you’re an egalitarian, how come you’re so rich?’ It therefore asks of white (and Asian) academics, “If you’re in favor of more “diversity”, how come you haven’t resigned?”

Mir kommt es fast so vor als hätte ich auch schon mal einen Artikel dazu, aber in der Tat macht es Spass die „privilegierten“ Leute, gerade eben weiße Männer, aber auch weiße Menschen an sich, heterosexuelle, Cis etc, die woke Artikel schreiben, dazu aufzufordern doch bitte mit gutem Beispiel voranzugehen und ihren Job aufzugeben. Macht natürlich auch keiner.
„Die Revolution frisst ihre Kinder“ scheint mir insofern durchaus ein guter Ansatz zu sein, dass Gegenargument ist, dass sich eben viele Aktivisten in irgendwelche Diskriminierungen flüchten werden: Von Frau bis „Nichtbinär“ steht ja einiges offen.
Aber dennoch ist die Frage danach, wie Divers die eigene Stelle des Aktivisten ist, immer interessant. Immerhin schien ja auch bei Pinkstinks ein Gender Pay Gap bestanden zu haben
