„Simping“

Mitunter hat das Englische einfach die besseren Worte. „Simping“ oder Bezogen auf eine Person „Simp“ wäre etwas, was auch im deutschen interessant sein könnte:

„Simp“ kommt von „Simpleton“ also „Einfaltspinsel“ und wäre im weiteren Sinne jemand, der sich von einer Frau ausnehmen lässt

Aus dem Urban Dictionary:

When you infatuate over women, allowing them to take over your mind and cause you to do things for them that you wouldn’t normally do.
Friend: „I’m gonna have to leave this game, I want to see what Anne is doing right now.“
The Bois: „You’re simping bro“

A male overly catering to the exaggerated emotions of a woman.

A man saying things to a woman he does not believe but only saying them because he thinks that she wants to hear them.

A man tearing down another man just to gain points with females, mainly male bashing females.

It’s the type of person who, instead of trying to attract the opposite sex through being attractive and interesting, is more sycophantic and fawning. They use faux niceness and concern in the hope that it will one day result in pity sex or a relationship out of guilt. Essentially, they give to get, even if it means losing some dignity or their original values in the process. If you’re simping, you’re embodying the values of the simp, and brown nosing to get attention and relationships. According to a TikTok posted by NoChillTy, these are some obvious markers of a simp:

  • Always doing the most for a female that doesn’t like them.‘
  • Where my hug at?’
  • Always trying to impress females.
  • Puts females before themselves.
  • Will defend a female just for a drop of *cat emoji*.
  • Hates slander of any female.
  • Has no game when coming to females so they only try to impress them by doing everything for them.
  • Lets females walk over them.
  • Constantly getting curved

Ein Paradebeispiel wäre eine Frau, die Männer dazu bringt ihr Geld zu schenken und sie anzuhimmeln und ab und zu dafür Bilder postet, die sagen wir mal figurbetont sind, wie zB diese Streamerin die zwar tausende von Dollar einnimmt, jetzt aber einfordert, dass ihre Fans im Gegenzug nur „gutes Simping“ betreiben.

In dieser extremen Form hat es etwas fetischhaftes, Spass an der Unterwerfung und Verehrung einer Frau, der Gedanke, dass man aufgrund seiner Zahlungen von ihr wahrgenommen wird und doch irgendwie wichtig ist.

Es bedient alle Klischees des männlichen Versagers, den ein Frau mit Andeutungen, sexuellen Reizen etc gefügig für ihre Zwecke macht.

Es passt auch nicht zum Klischee des Patriarchats und des unterdrückenden Mannes und man könnte einen Anteil „Toxischer Weiblichkeit“ darin sehen.
