Der Wahnsinn geht immer weiter. Netflix erlässt – vermutlich zur Vorbeugung von Schadensersatzforderungen, weil es nicht genug gegen sexuelle Belästigungen gemacht hat und die damit evtl verbundenen hohen punitive damages – neue Regeln:
Netflix has banned its workers from looking at each other for more than five seconds as part of new bizarre no-flirting rules.
The company’s film crew can also reportedly no longer ask their colleagues for their phone numbers and staff are encouraged to shout: ‘Stop! Don’t do that again’, if they feel harassed.
It follows the Harvey Weinstein scandal and Me Too movement that has hit Hollywood.
One of the first programmes made to follow these instructions is sci-fi series Black Mirror, filmed in London and on location.

Das schlimme daran sind ja leider noch nicht mal die Regeln, sondern das die Gesellschaft dann Leute dafür haftbar machen kann, dass sie sie nicht umgesetzt haben, obwohl sie vollkommen bescheuert sind im normalen Alltag. Es ist im Endeffekt das Aufstellen bizarrer Regeln, bei denen man immer hoffen muss, dass der andere sich später nicht auf sie beruft und man seinen Job verliert.
