Aus einer Besprechung:
And I just loved how he positively SCHOOLED her on antisocial behavior. She’s all (paraphrasing), “So you think women use gossip and innuendo as their modus operandi to release or display aggression?” And he’s like, “It’s not that I THINK that, it’s that all the clinical literature indicates it.” And she goes, “Well, I’m not interviewing the clinical literature, I’m interviewing YOU. What do YOU think?” And he replies, “I’m a psychologist and a scientist and I tend to base my opinions on what I’ve read in the broad, relevant, clinical literature. I’m not making this stuff up. I studied antisocial behavior for like 15 years. I’m quite an expert on it.”
Aus den Youtube-Kommentaren:
The interviewer predicates her views on the presumption that everyone’s point of view is a matter of opinion regardless of the facts. She continually dismisses Dr. Peterson’s well-formulated, deeply researched view based on the psychometric data of thousands of individuals. It’s as if they’re talking two different languages. He’s formulating his ideas based on empirical evidence while she’s musing about the surface of inequity between sexes with no real understanding of the variables at play. She’s quite ignorant in her challenge to Jordan. She should listen more closely and question more of her presumptions than his findings. Then do more research into those areas of interest, such as the differences between sexes, and reinterview Dr. Peterson with more deeply researched questions.
