Der Volksmund meint schon „Wer sich neckt, der liebt sich“ und das Necken bzw. Teasing oder auch der Neg sind wichtige Mittel im Flirt gerade des Mannes.
Gerade hat Roissy das Konzept in „The Fine Art of Teasing“ näher dargestellt:
Teasing is the art of delivering ugly truths in a charismatic style that inoculates the teaser against an accusation or perception of butthurtness.
The truth value of whatever you are teasing a girl about is immaterial; it’s *how* you say it that matters. It may very well be true that should you become famous you would dump your girlfriend for a hotter girl, or that her sense of humor sucks, but that’s irrelevant to the way in which such information is conveyed to her. If you can say it with a smirk, and couch your jerkish thoughts in the veneer of playful fun, she will register your demeanor as being one that an alpha male possesses. And this daily revelation will engorge her labia.
If you don’t know how to tease, then your jerkish blurts will be perceived by her as those held by a nasty beta secretly afraid she might leave him.
Teasing is a vital game tactic that serves the dual functions of 1) making relationships and dates less boring, and 2) subtly reminding the girl that you have options and aren’t afraid to risk her disapproval, which is the hallmark of the desirable alpha male swimming in a sea of snatch.
Der zweite Punkt ist dabei interessant, weil es dabei um Status und das Zeigen von Werten geht und fasst es meiner Meinung nach gut zusammen. David DeAngelo hat es in seinem Cocky Comedy Programm auch noch einmal gut dargestellt. Es geht um eine Statusdemonstration, das Darstellen eines höheren Wertes durch eine leichte Abwertung ihrerseits, die gleichzeitig lustig präsentiert wird und damit abgemildert wird. Durch das Lachen werden Spannungen, die auf der Beleidigung beruhen abgebaut und gleichzeitig eine gewisse Zustimmung erteilt und damit der höhere Status akzeptiert.
Es ist eine gewisse Form sozialer Dominanz in einer leichten Form, in dem man deutlich macht, dass man sich ungestraft (weil lustig) über sie lustig machen kann.
Bad boys have hard domince. Nice guys have soft dominance. Players have both. An early, easy and fun way to project hard dominance onto a girl is through teasing and defiance. You are communicating to her I will not be cowed. Her bullshit isn’t legal tender in this bar.
Meiner Meinung nach funktioniert Necken ganz hervorragend, wenn man die Grenze zwischen Spass und Boshaftigkeit gut im Griff hat. Es entspannt sich in der Regel ein lustiger Dialog, bei dem sie sich herausgefordert fühlt und mitmacht. Gutes Necken ist etwas was jeder in sein Repertoire aufnehmen sollte.
